Women, Infants, and Children
WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC helps income eligible pregnant and breastfeeding women, women who recently had a baby, and children ages 0 – 5.
The WIC specialist provides:
nutrition and breastfeeding education
baby formula and supplemental, nutritious foods
help with finding other health and human services; such as SoonerCare and Head Start
