NEWS FLASH!!
The following is a press release from NeoHealth:

"In operation since April 23, 2002, NeoHealth, Inc. a 501(c)3 Federally Qualified Health Center, was established in response to the overwhelming need for accessible health care in rural northeastern Oklahoma. The initial need for affordable healthcare services was identified as the residents of Cherokee County, Oklahoma. The health center’s overarching goal is to provide affordable quality health care throughout northeastern Oklahoma.
Since 2002, the health center patient base has grown dramatically, and patients currently come from throughout the northeastern quadrant of the state, some driving up to two hours to reach the center. What started out as one small rural health center in Hulbert Oklahoma, having only one medical provider. NeoHealth has now grown to four sites with nine providers.
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (2009) will allow NeoHealth health center to expand services into Adair County, one of Oklahoma’s counties of greatest need. With support from the Federal government, patients will be able to access affordable healthcare in the very near future.
The location of new clinic will be in Westville, Oklahoma. Services provided will include preventive and primary health care, the program will grow as the community needs and can support expansion of additional services."

Northeastern Oklahoma Community Health Centers, Inc. (NeoHealth) is a community partner striving to provide primary health care to the residents of northeastern Oklahoma. Affordable primary health care - it is that simple. Community Health Centers were created four decades ago to provide primary health care services to communities where there are few or no doctors. NeoHealth is committed to advancing the standards for a healthy life in the communities we serve. The residents of rural communities should be able to expect and receive quality health care. What began with one health center in Hulbert, Oklahoma has grown to five health center sites, and includes Tahlequah. Services include family practice, OB-GYN, and pediatrics.

The vision of NeoHealth includes a string of health centers scattered throughout northeastern Oklahoma, with each clinic attuned to the particular needs of its community, while tied to the larger organization for economies of scale and oversight. At present, we employ 40+ staff with 6 providers.

The Mission of Northeastern Oklahoma Community Health Centers, Inc. is to provide affordable quality health care.
